Draq queen and pro wrestler Moxxi Strokes has a unique style that is highly influenced by the aesthetics of the 80s. From aviators to hair that any rock star would envy they put a lot of intent into creating an on-stage presence that is uniquely their own.
Moxxi Strokes came to Dusty seeking a sleek and sharp custom typeface of their name. They wanted something that felt iconic and stood out from other drag queens and wrestlers alike. As a fellow artist, Dusty Drake enjoyed the challenge of getting Moxxi's ideas out of their head and into the hands of their fans through their merch.

From wrestling to entertaining in drag, a performer knows a first impression matters. I have to ensure the passion of my art is seen the moment someone lays eyes on me. Even with my resourcefulness on stage, when it came to creating a logo or merchandising, I had face facts and admit I needed help.
Luckily, I have the privilege of working with the only person I trust with bringing my mental mumbo-jumbo to life, Dusty Drake. Dusty’s collaborative approach with understanding my project's inspirations and desired result allowed me to know they were invested in the outcome and that it spoke to my vision.
They continually communicated to ensure expectations of the design were understood, while providing their own insight where requested. The resulting products provided unique imagery, 3-D printed materials, and other mediums of design that has not only allowed my persona to remain true to my vision but opened avenues of growth not expected.
Now I look forward to further developing Moxxi knowing that Dusty Drake is in my corner of creativity.
